Big announcement about Disneyland Shanghai!

The new Disneyland in Shanghai will not open before June 16th, but we’ve got a huge news for Disneyland nerds…

Tickets for Disneyland Shanghai’s opening available on March, 28th!

Shanghai’s most wanted Disneyland park will open its ticketing by the end of March. The sales should be incredible because of the tourism sector, which is booming at the moment.

Disneyland Shanghai should finally open up by the end of June, five years after the beginning of it all. We’ve seen a few photos of the construction site through Weibo, but they are keeping secretly the best of it.

Tickets will be sold from March 28th at a price of 499 yuans. This is the price for the opening day. Many attractions of the Disneyland Shanghai have been done following Chinese themes.

Here is a map of Disneyland Shanghai with the new lands. You can see that it includes « Mickey Avenue »: it’s a space know in the American Version of Disneyland California as Main Street USA.

Theme parks are buzzing: a huge lot of money to do there!

The total investment in Disneyland was 5.5 billions of dollars. And it was just the beginning of the Chinese touristic sector. At the moment, China owns 14 theme parks. This number should reach 60 theme parks by 2020, with a total investment of 24 billions of dollars.

« For instance, the construction of Universal Studios will start in Beijing. Also, the Safari Park Chimelong in Guangzhou. All this attracts billions of investments ».

All these investments come together during a tendency of expansion of touristic industry in China. Figures show that last year, the total turnover of tourism in China has overtaken 4 000 billion yuans. And this stands for over 10% of the Middle Kingdom’s economy!

Disney gets some of the coolest rides in Shanghai

This opening is going to be huge: It will be the first Disney park in mainland China.

Things should go wild: The park will undoubtedly be very busy, it will have many cool new rides and it will allow Disney to make a lot of money!

The Tomorrowland area will house five big attractions: Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue, Jet Packs, Star Wars Launch Bay, Stitch Encounter, and the most incredible one of them: TRON Lightcycle Power Run.

Disney has not put many attractions about the worldwide-known Star Wars because the huge buzz about it happened after that the plans were made. Though, the Star Wars Launch Bay looks to be amazing!
